Anyone knows any suitable figures for japanese troops in bob? Would 30's japanese troops' uniform from the Manchurian invasion fit?

Thanks

Not quite, especially if they are wearing tin hats. You'll find a good article on Japanese uniforms here.

The Black Army figures might form the basis for conversions.

'Pulp Figures' and 'Copplestone Castings' are probably your best bet, although the Copplestone are of Chinese so some weapon swaps and tinkering would be needed.

'Redoubt' and 'Old Glory' do Boxer Rebellion Japanese but I don't know what your time frame is.

cheers

Our Black Army figures are in m1930 uniforms, with the appropriate web gear, weapons, and helmets. For earlier Japanese, you can probably get away with our figures, as the cut of the uniform was very similar. Probably a small matter of conversion for the major details.

I think, optimum to make conversion of figures ' Copplestone Castings'. Compare.

I wish Copplestone would simply make a Japanese range for BoB.

While I am at it I also wish for a sky blue Volvo P1800 to appear for me in my parking lot.

Seems like we have at least two heart felt wishes in common. Lovely looking car the P1800, unless of course you count the estate version. I know Swedes have a reputation for being profoundly practical folk but who thought a station wagon version of a classic sports car was a good idea?

BTW is that the the colour you were after?

Well, you know, always good to have a little extra room when you need to pick horse manure for the beet fields at the neighbouring farm.

Anyway, back to those Japanese. I wonder what it takes to wake Mark Copplestone out of his stupor.

Yet he happily released Czechs although White Russians would have worked quite well.

Be nice if he released anything for BoB let alone Japanese.
