Yeah, when you're fighting to find a subject that sets you apart from the other introductory posts, you get kind of desperate.

Anyway, I found my way here through a friend - who may or may not actually be a member himself, I've still to find that out. I've been miniature wargaming on and off since the early nineties (so I'm quite the neonate ), Flintloque, 40K, Warhammer Fantasy, Ad&d Battlesystem, Necromunda, Battlefleet Gothic and more of their ilk. My interest waned for a while after a divorce and parenthood took their toll, but the fire was rekindled recently when said friend asked me to playtest his zombie skirmish rules.

I've designed a few boardgames and more or less a roleplaying game (which *gasp* was actually published though I think they lost money on the deal in the end *grin*), and I've been working on a non-crunchy serial demolition derby miniatures game for...well...let's not discuss the timeline on that one. :p

So, here to bounce ideas off the board, drool over the works of others and generally try to contribute - if ever so slightly - towards world peace.
