Prussian Special Weapons
« on: July 07, 2010, 09:43:09 PM »
Hello my fine fellows. Here we have today, two examples of new, experimental weaponry now seeing use in today's Prussian military.

First is the Schneider mkIII Grenatenwerfer. Better known as a Pickelschmeisser due to the spiked grenades that it launches which resemble a small pickelhaube peaking out of the barrel.

Next is the Seelinger m1889 Blitzengewehr. Designed to hurl a bolt of lightning at armored vehicles. Very often as much a danger to the wielder as it is to his target.

Great lightning gun and generator. What manufacturer is the figure from? I knew the GW bomb gun thing was big but I didn't think it was that big!
So many projects..... so little time.......

The figure is a Foundry Prussian standard bearer and the generator was a Space Ork combi-weapon.

I didn't imagine that the bomb gun was that big either. Until I stuck it on there.  :o  I'm just going to say that the barrel of the gun is made of some super light but strong alloy and a special kind of propellant is being used to hurl the bombs.

Yeah, that's it.

Foundry, okay then yeah, that thing is big  :P
I have one in my spares, it might have to become a vehicle mounted weapon instead.

Shocking!  Barbaric Huns... (er, can we "obtain" one for our scientists to study?  Strictly defensive research, I assure you.)

Gracias,

Glenn
