ACW2 Minutemen

Finished my new Minutemen for the ACW2 campaign we're starting tomorrow.  Sorry about the less than idea pictures.  The figures were actually painted by a service, I just did a bit of clean up afterwards & based them.




The figures are the dismounted Mexican cavalry from Old Glory's Pershing in Mexico line.  Luckily the none of the figures had sabers.  The figures are pretty close to the description of the Constitutionalist forces from the upcoming Very American Civil War, it seems only the cap is different.  But I couldn't pass up the price with the OG Army Card (thanks Leadfool).

The uniforms colors are also based on the VACW descriptions.  I added the red epaulettes & hat stripe to the standard Minuteman uniform, to match the red stripe at the bottom of the California flag.

Nice. Interesting paint scheme. The figures don’t look too bad themselves either

Very, very nice:) Well done! I'm glad you like the color scheme. The red is an inspired, and wholely appropriate, touch!
