Thanks Guys!
Richard - how about close combat? Pretty much the same? One thing we were never really clear on in the 2nd edition was, on a subsequent round that two units are engaged in close combat, if individuals moving to contact opposing figures were subject to defensive fire (because they were moving) or if figures could disengage and wander away - or engage other troops...?!
Is it still move OR Fire (which I actually like - though many around here absolutely HATED the idea)? Another thing we were never really clear on was if PART of a unit moves can those that remained still fire?
If I can get the guys fired up about the era again I'll eventually break down and pick up the new edition...
Do the old lists still jive with the new edition (not that we ever paid TOO MUCH attention to them...) or are there all new lists in the new book?
Matakishi - the feeling is mutual. Every time I visit the Tea House I am at risk of veering off into new projects completely unrelated to what I'm currently working on. However, your ability to plan, organize and stick to a project has always been an inspiration to me! Thank you!
