My take on the West Wind Werewolves
« on: 28 July 2007, 01:49:36 PM »
Hi again,
as mentioned (see:http://forum.backofbeyond.de/viewtopic.php?t=2151) I have also painted the West Wind Werewolves.
And I even based them properly...

But as Pappa Midnight noted, you need bigger bases to keep them upright...
I took 4cm GW style bases + some milliput and pebbles.
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

Nice work. Too bad you didn't put them on proper bases.

Excellent work as always!

The white and the black ones are my favourites.  Great effect on the bases!  What did you use on them?

Very nice, very effective base texture. :)

These two are also my favourites.
The bases are done with milliput and some small stone plates from a broken pottery (burst in the winter 2 years ago, the whole pot was suitable destroyed and I could salvage a lot of small "stone-slices").

The black Wolf is standing on 3 stones. After that some sand and finally some Noch Railway snow.

*stunned*

Absolutely amazing! Love the bases and number 2 from the left in particular.
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

amazing!!! my favorite of yours so far!
I had hoped I could find quailty images of these things painted and now I will be sure to add these to my horror ranks. After going on your link I spent a good hour just checking out your site. Great stuff on there and tons of miniatures...how do you find the time?

The werewolves look great and I like the fact that each one is painted differently and stands as its own individual model.
