« on: 29 August 2010, 07:22:00 PM »
Here is Mr Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty from v10 Incident at Reichenbach.
This set will be avaliable to buy in the coming weeks along with v11 Mycroft Holmes and v12 Brunel and Steam Navvies.
I will post more pictures when I have painted them.

Nice. Ooh, and there's always room for a Brunel model. Will he be anything like the rather marvellous incarnation he has in in Sydney Padua's delightful web-comic?

Very nice faces and the subtle highlights work a treat. Must order these soon.

Very nice painting, I think the style seem a little special but fits marvellous with how these figures are modelled.

I will look forward to see more painted figures.

Vaaaary nice.

How did you paint the metal, by the way, if you don't mind me asking?

I painted the model bronze over a black undercoat. I then gave it several thin coats of green, black, purple, red, green, and black inks.
Once it was dry, I dry brushed the model with the original bronze paint with a little brass mixed in.
