Black Tree Design Humber
« on: August 29, 2010, 11:50:05 PM »
I assembled and painted a Black Tree Design Humber over the weekend

I painted it as a Humber from the 7th Reconnaissance Regiment (17th Duke of York’s Royal Canadian Hussars) - the reconnaissance regiment for the 3rd Canadian infantry Division - Same division as the Regina Rifles.

I did a bit of a step-by-step series of post on my blog:
Part One - wherein we have a look at teh parts and I am somewhat confused about exactly what kind of armoured car I actually have on my hands (DOH!?)
Part Two - assembly begins
Part Three - Final Assembly
Part Four - primed
Part Five - painting the beastie
Part Six - The final product (as above) basing and all.

Very cool Tim.  I really like the base.

Nice job, especially as I'm led to believe that BTD vehicles aren't exactly easy when it comes to matching the parts up.

If it is anything like the ones I built, I doff my virtual hat. That is quite a nice result.
