Warmaster Question
« on: September 02, 2010, 05:10:38 PM »
Just printed off the free Warmaster rulebook from GW's site and noticed that the contents page indicates quite a few more pages that aren't part of the download. Can anyone shed some light on this. Were the excluded rules superceded by something?

Cheers

They may be fluff pages, art, photos, etc.

Nope, more than that. Downloadable rules finish at page 77, contents indicate that there is 159 pages. Superseded army lists start at page 126, missing are the sections on setting up the battlefield, scenarios, siege rules, ships and boats rules, campaign rules, and multi-player games.

Hardly fluff!  ::)

I wish I could say I was surprised, but with GW it tends to be free but...

Pages 78 to 89 is rules on terrain deployment and the scenarios, pages 90 to 95 are the siege rules, pages 96 to 112 is art, miniatures painting and modeling.  Now Pages 113 to 121 contain rules for unit experience, using an umpire and creating campaigns. Finally pages 122 & 123 contain simple rules for using boats & ships.
