Jim? Are you referring to Jeff Valent Studios? If so dont know what the issue your having, but his site is working fine.

Really? Never had a problem. Always returns my emails, usually same day. Maybe your doing something wrong?  :-)

For me I have only even bought at conventions, I was just refering to the rest of the site as it seemed to be down so I wondered if the "basket" would work or not.

The last time I ordered from Jeff Valent the figures took about 4 months to arrive. I wasn't in a rush for them so it wasn't a problem for me.

4 months is taking the fine line between something not good and something atrocious. Were you kept informed? I know a friend had a heck of a time getting fantasy stuff out of him. Does he have a 'real' job that gets in the way?

I was on his case but he certainly didn't keep me informed. When I placed the order the general consensus was you got your stuff but would have a long wait so I waited and eventually it arrived. Maybe he waits for a certain number of orders to arrive before casting figs, that's pure specualtion on my part though.

I have ordered from him numerous times, and NEVER had a problem.

Always very quick and well packed.
I don't remember any communications, but then I think it was never needed.

It constantly amazes me that some manufacturers have a totally good or totally bad reputation and others are so widely different in user perceptions.

i mean, the ones on the site are quite awful, I hope that those minis could look better than this...
