Second World War Zombie!
« on: September 26, 2010, 09:21:06 PM »
The war is standing at a point where either side is perfectly able to get a landslide victory or a terrible loss, because of this, the powers involved are trying to find unconventional ways to get some advantage to his opponent.
While the U.S. has achieved a technological breakthrough in building tanks / body armor with which to sweep enemy positions with hardly any casualties, the German side bet on the dark arts and paranormal powers to get some troops immune to most of the effects of enemy weapons ...

With the capture of a German mail, the Allies discovered that the general Von Karazhan, leader of a secret order of the Third Reich attempted to summon the demon of  a sixteenth-century bishop who sold his soul to the devil to get dark ends.
Therefore, a company of the 101 Airborne assault with a combat armor M1 Sheridan tried by all means such infamous abort mission but the victory cost them dearly.
Under the command of the allies is Colonel John McAllister, a senior member of the church with great supernatural knowledge.
According to the mission military statesmen no extra risk to any incursion of sabotage, the problem is they do not have an element of surprise, the Germans will have to please an army of undead who blindly obey their designs .....

We play the game on Sunday during the celebration "Jocs a Ciutat 2010"* event wargame in Palma de Mallorca. We use simple rules of FUBAR and we wanted something easy for the visitors could test.
Although not finish the game due to lack of time was a great success and the audience enjoyed the hobby.

Greetings!

who makes the US mech ?

The guns are 40K Heavy Bolter sponsons.
The ammo cans on the back are "I think" from the 40K line as well.
The Mech body though, i know it but just cant put my finger on it. And it has been bugging me for a while now. Where is it from? Anyone? :-)

Thanks for your replys!!

The mech body is an older miniature from Havok, the miniature was in a giant box in a hobby wargames shop.
The original is horrible but with the w40k items I can make this battlesuit.  :)
