It seems to use some pretty classic concepts (the tractor beam!) and some interesting looking vehicles and monsters.

The only question now is what scale we should do!  lol

Not bad actually. I never heard of it before, until now, and it's clear it has lots of semi-no-name actors, but it looks like a fun movie to watch. It's maybe not see it in the theater worthy, but definitely a good DVD rental.

Looks very interesting.

I see that it has David Zayas - who plays Angel in Dexter.

I must be out of the loop somewhere, because this is yet another alien invasion movie I've not heard till it was mentioned here.

I’ve seen trailer 1 some time ago… this one’s more complete. I’m looking forward to its release too. I’m happy to see that David Zayas is in it too… not so sure about that other guy (I don’t know his name) that played in 24 and Six Feet Under though.

David Zayas is a good character actor. One of those types that always plays himself IMO, but he always makes it work for the role. Other guy is Eric Balfour, who's not currently very well known, but he's a really good actor, and is IMO one of those up-and-comers to look out for in the future.

There are some circumstantial red flags about the film though: Rogue Pictures is not a name I associate with quality (Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz notwithstanding), and the the directors are a pair of SPFX guys who's previous (and only) film was AvP-R.

So, high hopes, but very guarded expectations. Certainly does seem like it'll have plenty of eye candy though, at least.
History viewed from the inside is always a dark, digestive mess, far different from the easily recognizable cow viewed from afar by historians.

Please, no. Yet another stupid, unoriginal and pointless movie with unconvincing computer graphics. Oh well, I guess these must sell because they keep making them?

Just saw it today and I really liked it...until the last five minutes. Without going into details, let's just say that the last bit of the movie really spoils everything. If it at ended earlier, it would be a great movie albeit very, very bleak...

There's a couple of fight scenes, but there are short. The aliens are very good, but some of them (big ones) reminded me of the Locust from Gears of War.
