Probably closed for Xmas then.
Let's hope for some action in January.

While I don't mind waiting, it's the lack of information that annoys me. The figures were due in November. Then, after an e-mail I was told that they should be out before Christmas, bit not a peep since then, not even on the website.
Just being told there is a problem and that they're working on it would go a long way towards making us more amenable, but I doubt I'll pre-order from them again.

I didn't even get a reply to my e-mail! Not only will I not pre-order from them again, I'll never order from them again! >:(

I agree that progress updates on their website would have been a good idea. I didn't know they were due in November so I haven't really giving it a second thought until recently.

I emailed them yesterday and got an answer three hours later, saying "ALL existing orders will be dispatched before next weekend". I'm looking forward to it!  8)

Sooooo... was anyone lucky enough to receive the long-anticipated and apparently posted before the weekend figures yet?

Just to say that on Frother's John at studio miniatures posted that there were machining issues and lessons have been learnt, all those that pre-ordered will receive I think 5 extra sprues as a thankyou/sorry and bases to go with the extra minis.

Granted that something could have been posted here, but thought you'd like to know.

Well, I got home and found a parcel of figures today...

The metal officer comes with a lipped round base, and there are extra figures in the box (a video-tape case?)
The figures look like they will match well with the Warlord plastics, so I guess we'll see lots of conversions soon.

Cool! How's the detailing on the figures?
I recently got me the Warlords set of zombies and I already had a set of WGF zombies. My first sausage of green stuff is on it's way. Looks like Christmas is gonna be saved after all...   lol

Got my parcel this Friday, just in time for the weekend.

As mentioned by the Commander, there's 20 sprues (2 zombies on each + extra parts), instead of the 15 sprues I pre-ordered. There was no mentioning of this in the package. The package itself looks like some kind of double VHS box. My bases were thin 25mm (marked Renedra), about half the height of regular Warhammer bases. Only the Obersturmbahnführer came with a lipped base.

I took some photos for comparison of the Warlords Games German Infantry set and the Mantic Ghouls/Zombies set. It looks like they'll fit together nicely.

Just opened up my mailbox and found my pre-ordered set!  (mine came with the 10 extra zombies to compensate for the delay as well)

I'd agree with apeekaboo that they are spot on with the BAM Plastic Germans from Warlord.  I wouldn't mix them with the mantic zombie parts though as the mantic zombies are quite a bit bigger.

Thanks for the link!

Impressive Blog, I really love the terrain.

I have just started to get into 28mm WWII and as soon as I figure out how to use Zombies I will (Probably Disposable Heroes).

Happy Gaming,

@fluffy05: Thanks! :)

Agreed that the link could have been more visible.
I think the forum have turned off underlined links by default.

Here is some inspiration from Warlord Games site, to get your fantasy going:
