Great Malifaux table at the Crisis Show, many pics
« on: 14 November 2010, 03:54:21 PM »
This magnificent gaming table for the Malifaux steampunk game caught my eyes at the recent Antwerp Crisis show. It could be placed in many boards like Old (weird) West, Future Wars (post-apocalyptic) or Horror, but Steampunk has it's home here, so it's Other Adventures. The table, all terrain and buildings as well as nearly all of the minis were the labour of love of two guys from the Netherlands who are big fans of the Malifaux gaming system. The buildings were constructed and painted over a period of eight months from scratch, using Hirst Arts parts and bits and pieces from their scrap boxes or special ordered items from many other manufacturers.
What I love most is the incredible detail they put in the buildings, the streets and all over the place. This was one of the most original and creative gaming tables I've seen over a long period, so I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

No idea, I didn't ask.

That's what I did, of course. But those gentlemen replied, they would be members in "another forum", so they weren't that much interested. Unbelievable, isn't it?  o_o

Stunning. Too bad these gentlemen choose to post elsewhere, though. Thanks to you for posting this....!!!!

The Table is LOVELY in a steam-punky sort of way....as a steam-punky Old Guy that's a plus.
I would imagine the Guys are posting on the Wyrd Forum. That was a major hangout for moi...lots of interesting things from lots of different games & a showcase for almost every mini makers wares. HOWEVER, while Wyrd still encourages posts of all sorts, the new regulars pretty much restrict their posting to an endless repetition of things Malifaux...one of the reasons I found my way here; I hope you don't hold that against Wyrd.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Magnificent table.   :-*

I wish I had the patience to learn how to do stuff like that, but my age... prohibits it.   :D

Sorry, seem to be a bit "dense" today.
What exactly does this mean? Dont mix words i would like to know the specific worded response.
