I gave up watching Hollywood adaptations of my favourite books/characters etc. years ago. They just don't seem to want to make good, honest, sensible films. Cue Legolas surfing down an oversized elephant.

I'm looking for this mini on the Copplestone site, but I'm not finding it. Is it still produced?

One miniature is too many, and a thousand are not enough...

It's still listed there. Gangsters: GN9 Sleuths.

The ears on Milou need fixing if you want him to look right.

I love Tintin, and have introduced his adventures to my children (with my old books from when I was a child!). This is fun and brings back memories. I may have to buy those sleuths to get Tintin!

On a side note Matakishi, great figures, I'm guessing you did some conversions.

No zombie Snowy! Did they chow down on him?

I never got around to converting him, though I did set aside a mega minis dog to provide the basis. I might do it soon.

Not really. Captain Haddock had a head swap (and a bren gun added). Calculus had an umbrella added and the twins had walking sticks added.

Well you do need to finish the set - or make a pile of bones with a spot of white fur! lol

To add to the list of unexpected TinTin books, I actually have a copy of this:

TinTin & Haddock get involved in strike action, form a commune, tackle over-zealous SPG type policemen and eventually bring down the state with anarchist propaganda.

Very eighties, very right on, its the sort of thing you could imagine Ben Elton writing when he was still funny, except that this is deadly serious.

You can get them on Amazon for a couple of quid if you really have to. I imagine most people would find it more baffling than the Cthulhu ones...  ;D

I look forward to seeing the finished model - I'm sure it'll be fine addition to the set!

one of the Brigade Games merchant seaman packs has a relatively good likeness sans beard. Another one has the beard, but only the sweater and not the jacket (I used it as the basis for my living version).
