Excuse me any of  these have already been suggested.

In my own games these function as Brotherhood of Steel Knights in Advanced Combat Armour.

As for NCR I use these guys. Considering that the NCR Troopers are based partly off Anzacs you can get away with using them as is, though sculpting on some armour doesn't take much. They don't have quite the sci-fi look of other miniatures suggested in this thread, but I prefer the more low-tech style.

In the case of Super Mutants these are pretty good stand ins, if you can ignore the hair (though various head options are available, and some are easier to clean up than others. They have a nice bodged together armour style that fits the aesthetic.

Games Workshop's Lord of the Rings range is full of models that can be easily converted to the post apocalyptic setting.

I use a mix of Corsairs and Haradrim to represent wasteland settlers. Swap out some of the shields for pistols and bows/spears for shotguns/rifles.

Round off their helmets and add some goggles and the Uruk-hai Scouts become raiders dressed in riot gear and tattered cloth.

With some work these Morannon Orcs can be turned into Reavers from Fallout: Tactics

Cannibalistic Tribals anyone? Hunter Orcs from The Hobbit range.

But those are just what I use them for, there's plenty of other miniatures there that are ripe for converting. ^^

Im come across a few more miniatures from the RAFM/Reaper ranges that would be suitable.

Super mutant:
http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/mutant/sku-down/50092- great starting point for a super mutant conversion.

Yao Guai:
http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/02817/sku-down/02817#detail/02817_G- bit of a stretch but it would work

Ghouls:
http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/03598/sku-down/03598- Looks perfect to me, im grabbing 2 of each.

Raider:
http://www.rafm.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=RAF&Product_Code=RAF02855&Category_Code=USXMin- Crazy bad ass raider with a ripper. Check!!

Hope this helps

I just seen that one. Arghhhhhh! Gimme, gimme gimme!  :D

The scale looks a little off however (too small), but still... Damn I want one of those. Now to see if Vinni's gotten around to sorting out my account problems...

And a painted one:

Anyone else think that the Dust Tactics power armour looks a hell of a lot like Enclave Advanced Power Armour Mk1 (sans the Helmet, but Brother Vinni does those)? Didn't think so, but that's what I've bought it for. Anyone interesting pop into my thread in a bit and maybe I'll try and convert it.  ;)

Just noticed this Akula's Space Opera thread ( http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=50885.msg741107#msg741107 )

Could be me, but I think that croc dog has a rather good resemblance to a night stalker (just needs a rattle tail and ears)
Dunno what size it is though.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I couldn't see any comparison scale shots elsewhere in the thread (though I didn't look hard), but his stuff looks suitable for 28mm. In that case I suppose that model would come up to the waste of an average human ...probably. Go ask him!  ;)

Molds are more or less working ok right now, PM for details.
Just understand that I've got a job with no set hours so I can't spend my days casting it up. Delays are possible. c:
If you'd like an apocalyptic monster in 28mm, throw me a PM and I'll think it over.

Good stuff. I have some of my own finds I'll post when I have time.
"Something had happened in the dim past...! A natural disaster coupled with Radiation! The people in the bunkers lived out their lives and died dreaming of a day of return---The radiation would be gone---and the world would be left waiting---"
