I spoke with the guy doing it at GenCon. Great guy and he's got lots of stuff planned for it.

It's modern, superhero-type combat from what I can gather.

not really from our point of view. But maybe it will be a sort of film-noir-city whre some sinister super heroes are running around

Hello,
in no way our intention was to create a typical 20's to 50's pulp. There are already some great games about it!

The "pulp" in Pulp City is about mixing cultural archetypes in one game - so you got clinteastwoody Ace of Wraiths along Guerilla (hello Arnold, hello Sylvester!) but also some closer to your definition of pulp - Androida is a Metropolis inspired heroine.

If you are still interested in hot, super hero skirmish action, please follow our site cause more minis and concepts are flowing in, also, make sure you check the playtests announcement!
