Interesting stuff, great to see it all in one place (in a thread, I mean). I am very keen on seeing the finished results.

Looking at the sizes of the washers I use for cavalry and artillery, some 40mm rings wouldn't go amiss. Definitely an opportunity for those of us who want to make scenic bases for guns and horses.

i like them. i use GW wat of the ring trays but they are expensive and 4x2 and id prefer 6x2 models. ill try som eof this out. have you considered making a mould?

Nice thing! As more multibase games are getting on my wish list (e.g. impetus) trays are becoming a serious need. Ever thought of a drill hole saw?

Hello chaps, thought I'd show my face and answer a couple of questions 

Cracking stuff there SI, you've really done a great job on them 

The cost of what SI wanted was £15 in total and that was for four bases and 30 rings, the bases being 1.5mm acrylic and the rings being 1mm acrylic. These are based on Steve's measurements and the postage was £2 in the UK but any size, arrangemement or quantity can be sorted.

Bit of advice for those wanting to work with acrylic for the first time, DON'T use a hole saw for cutting through acrylic because it will shatter and send little shards of or acrylic everywhere and believe me, the buggers hurt! You will need to key the surface aswell, a bit of 180 grit sandpaper should do the trick, or, if you want them clear then no problems
