Wow. I just found this thread and am beyond impressed. Just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration. Good luck!

Thanks mate

Right working on the final GD entry for this year.

Sayl The Faithless.

Colour scheme is going to be as such.
Turquoise cloak (on the interior some sort of fancy pattern in a light blue/white - on the reverse a large and elaborate tzeentch symbol in NMM gold/yellow)
Red/Orange Robes (currently basecoated brown)
White Armour with gold trim
Ivory staff with a crystal serpent on the top (hopefully)

At the moment I think I am going to get some miliput and smooth all the nicks and tears that are sculpted on the interior of the cloak and then redo the interior of the cloak as I am not happy with the smoothness of the blend due to the unevenness of the interior.

That's a nice model and you've made a good start.  Any ideas for the base?

Well tragedy has struck!!

Sayl was involved in a chair related accident and is no more......

I caught him with the sleeve of my dressgown on sunday and then ran him over which is the 2nd time I have done that with resin models, Isabella from Studio McVey being the first time.  Suffice to say he is ruined.  So I have purchased him again and will have to start from scratch.  Hopefully it will be here in time but in the meantime I am working on a substitute.

She is very much WIP.  She will have a shield in the forward arm and I think I am going to paint the hair blonde instead of the rich purple. Also the whip I think I am going to paint creamy and segmented like a rattlesnake's "rattler".

Can't believe I have totally missed this thread! Excellent brushwork. Most impressed. Sorry to hear about the disaster, done that before now but with metal. Not as final as with resin but still enough to make the air blue!

SEX-EE!

You have GOT to keep that dark satiny purple, it accents her much more beautifully than blond will.
She's a Slaanesh follower, is she not?
I've always thought that the canon Slaanesh models weren't blasphemously attractive enough, GW could take a few pointers from you.

These things happen mate, might actually work out well because I can paint the spare spawn I now have ad sell it for enough to pay for both times I have brought the set :)  Also hope you enjoy the thread, plenty more to come

sexy is no longer acceptable now their target audience is young kids, strange though when I was in their current target age group of 12-14 all i wanted to see was tits.  Sadly my urge to paint a blonde in the thong won over mate :(

Right little more work done on the slaaneshi champ - I actually painted the shield did some freehand runes on it was not at all happy and basecoated over it.

Everything looks great Dee, keep it up! Can't wait to see the Tzeentch Sorcerer finished!
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

He will take a while yet mate as he "died" and had to be re-purchased

very good dee looking forward to more  :D

wait no longer

Yeah I think it, although lightens the model a little bit too much compliments the purple well along with the gold.

WONDERFULLY WELL DONE! I love the way the Babe's flesh tones turned out.

I second that notion

Little more done
