Dear sir, your pictures of rotten/frostbitten and purtifying flesh have been put into my inspirational folder :)
Thanks for showing your nice paintjobs.

Intersting idea, a jugger in front of a warshine. Would like ot see what you make of that.

@ Braxandur

Glad to be of service :D

Right finished all the chosen models that needed skin doing and started a "Test" Chosen

*WARNING* Pictures are cack beyond beleif and really don't give any clear indication of colour....the test chosen's armour is the same green as the horsemen so that will give you an indication of how bad the lighting is :)

Some pics of the Chosen before being undercoated would really show how much work you've put into them. I can recognise all sorts of bits and pieces and GS work... good job!

Again, I must say that starting from the grey undercoat has worked a treat.
The skin ha sthat "hollywood" Stan Winston look about it.
Not realistic as such, but sort of Hollywood special effect realistic.

The first head above, even though its a GW Zombie head and tehrefore a joke, ACTUALY looks really really good....

Somewhere between Evil Dead (1) and The Mummy....

REALLY nice D. The almost translucent quality the grey undercoat gives due to your payers technique pays off big time.

Oh, and they look dirty.......

@ Col A.B.

Well I am sold on the Halfords grey undercoat and thanks for putting me onto that, from both a painting and a pecuniary point of view.

Thanks mate, although I did have to Google him to find out who he was :(

There you have the reason for the removal of the body pile from the Great Unclean One as A. they looked crap apart from a couple of decent heads and B. Fil Dunn told me that I would be at a MASSIVE disadvantage if I used the Mantic zombies even as a basing material :(  For those of you that have no idea what I am on about....this as my Warhammer Monster entry for UKGD this year

REALLY nice D. The almost translucent quality the grey undercoat gives due to your payers technique pays off big time.

What the hell is payers technique mate? or is that a typo and supposed to be painting techinque?

Oh, and they look dirty......

Give me time I am sure I can clean them up just for you....... lol

*EDIT*

Oh forgot to post these yesterday....these are the slannesh marauders I am working on made using daemonettes, seekers of slannesh, marauders and dark eldar wyches.  Idea is to make the entire slannesh part of my army women including 20 chosen/warriros made from dark eldar kabalite warriors and dark elf bits

Drooling to see these painted now!  Your work is incredible.

@ kingofdaveness

Thanks a lot mate, will be a while on the slannesh marauders, need to get these nurgle chosen off of the way first

@ dodge

Thanks mate, haha I brought that at UKGD last year, was supposed to be a treat for getting to the last round but I ended up buying it and the forgeworld keeper of secrets first thing in the morning :D

Right first chosen is finished....19 more to do

I have to say one thing, just noticed from the picture that the blade on top of the haldberd has lost its paint work (bottomg right of the four pictures) but I have just redone that but can't be buggered to get camera etc out again to sort it.....will retake the picture for proof when I finish the next one.

I've been sat looking at the first of the chosen all morning, and there is something about the green armour....

Not sure what it is, or why it bugs me, but it does....

Perhaps its too clean?
Not damaged enough?
Not, well, nurgled enough?

It may look very different in the flesh, but for some reason, and i really do mean this, it looks like the armour is made of suede!

Now we all know that suede booties are the hight of fashion for any Chaos army, but suede armour?

Seriously, please look at the above chosen and then think green suede....

Perhaps its just me.... becoming old and addled....

@ Braxandur

Thanks matey

@ Col A.B.

Doesn't look like suede to me, unfortunately that is how I paint neat and seemless blends.  If you don't like it mate well you are going to hate the rest  lol  Might be cause you have a view that is like 3 times the size of the model?  Have you been to the shop and looked at the horsemen? their armour is identical.  Other than that there's not a lot that I can do about it.

*edit* Also mate I need to keep in practice at painting nice and clean stuff if I want to win a GD
