Star Wars model kits : size does matter

Hello,

Could someone tell me if the Revell Easy Kit AT-AT and Millenium Falcon are compatible in size with Wotc  Star Wars miniatures (heroic 28mm) ?

If not which model kits would be the best ?

i only have the smaller Kits.The Arc Fighter and the Rep.Gunboat are about 1/48 Scale.The AT-RT and the Anakin Jedifighter are 1/32 Scale.
The AT-AT from the old ERTL/MPC Model Kit is a bit small i would say 1/72 Scale

Both the Revell AT-AT and MF are way too small.  The AT-AT is in the neighborhood of 1/72.  The MF is even smaller, maybe 1/80.  If scale is important, look for the WOTC AT-ATs.  I've got one and it's almost dead on at 1/50.  Also, here's an older list of Star Wars Scale models.  It doesn't have most of the newer Revell stuff unfortunately:

I found a Galoob (?) Slave 1 on the ebay some years ago:





I am not sure about the scale, but the Boba Fett pilot that comes with it is exactly the same height as the Grenadier/WEG Rebel Trooper in the pics. So one might assume the ship too is the same scale? Rather pathetic little detail is the Han Solo frozen in carbonite: the box opens, and inside you find Han Solo himself... the hours just fly playing with these!

Of course, this is toy quality, so the hinges of the cockpit are rather robust, and the paint work is typical prepaint standard, but I haven't got around repainting it myself.

 There must be some scale models of Slave 1 but I have no idea if they're suitable scale? Oh, and someone mentioned the Revell easy kit Millenium Falcon: it is indeed somewhere around 1/72 to 1/100 in scale. A bit too small, but works fine as game prop, it's almost big enough for 25mm. For 28mm it's not so good, I would guess.

Got to disagree there on the ATAT, the new Revell kit is massive, I'll take a photo tonight next to some WEG figures. The old AMT/ertl kit is tiny, I will see if I can find that one as well and put it next to the Revell one.

I confirm, I have some AMT/ERTL Star Wars kits and they are great for WEG miniatures or smaller ones.

It's massive but WEG miniatures are real 25mm...WOTC ones are above 30mm. BTW I just found a WOTC AT-AT.

I have both, I'll put them both along side the ATAT. I will bet you that the extra 5mm of the WOTC figure won't be noticable! :-)

It's small but it looks great. I was watching Episode IV once again yesterday : Han Solo has to bend to get inside the Falcon by the ramp.

It's hard to find a suitable Falcon : either too big or too small. BTW it's only a scenery and you don't play with it in a game. I love it this way and to be honest I didn't notice it was too small when I first watched Tactica site  photos.

This Revell Falcon should be top notch for WEG miniatures.
