Adding to Jawa Joe's droid stock: The LIN demolitionmech autonomous minelayer, commonly known as the LIN Demolitionmech, was a droid marketed by Cybot Galactica as a mine-laying and demolitions specialist.

Greenstuff ball cut in half. Tracks added and gs grabbing claw (flat sculpted then removed from the non stick base once cured  and stretched plastirod for the aerials etc.. Very pleased  with how it turned out.
Now water can flow....or water can crash...be water my friend.

So WEG conversions.

As u can see, being a gamer of a certain age I have no issue with cutting up old lead.

So armed with a fair few Ithorians i fancied doing s few more force users. Twins: one turned to the light, the other fell to darkness. (I also love the idea of a dual blade jedi sabre too!).

With a third I added a little silly sunhat for a tattoonie denizen. (A little stretch gonk idea I'd seen before that i fancied trying out....more later).

Sabre hilts drilled for acrylic blades.

SCAR Squad:

Reading the new Marvel Star wars comic introduces you to a whole new world of references. One that really struck a cord with me was an elite Stormtrooper unit (like the Republic ARC and Commando programs).

So without further ado I bring you Taskforce 99: Special Commando Advanced Recon: (front from left: Cav, Sgt Kreel, Misty, middle from left: Zuke, Aero, Mic & (at the back) Shrap. WEG minis with a lot of cutting, sculpting etc.. a couple of GZG minis with headswops etc....

So.... sidetracked into figure conversions again.  ;)

Had a spare Rodian body plus a pair of TIE pilot legs. Add a crooked dice astronaut helmet and we've got otherselves another alien spacer..

Also drilled and pinned the Po Dameron-esque conversion using the Solo body and xwing pilot head. Looks tres cool!

Cheers Earther.

Stretch GONK/Power Droid.

Seen the pantomime horse idea in The Clone Wars Animated series and Rebels so thought I'd give it a go.

Somebody has been a busy boy whilst going AWOL.
 :D

Great stuff.
Love all the conversions.

Oh, and that Power Droid cracks me up as I keep seeing the legs trying to go in opposite directions as the Jawa mechanic puts one set on backwards during 'repairs'..
 lol

Having a bit of a dust off.

Pulled out a few of my Star wars WEG that i painted a while back.

Have to get a few more Hoth troopers sorted and swop those metal sabre blades out for acrylic. GZG proxy rebels, micromachine lickle jawas, a conversion of Zackus Bounty Hunter, shadow guard at the back,

AT-AT pilot paint job on a TIE pilot and my personal favourite.... the Hoth Jawa. ;)

Bought some old solid based 25mm sci-fi minis from ebay.  Thought they'd be great for the new Death Troopers in Rogue One.

Not the best sculpts, very soft and dated but painted up well.

I ended up cuting the gasmask bits from their helmets which helps with the helmet immensely.

Went for green lenses for a bit of a contrast (nod to shadow troopers too).
