Werewolves
« on: 15 January 2011, 09:03:21 PM »
I've just received a couple of SotR werewolves from Westwind and I was wondering how this guy compares height wise with them?

Cheers
Andy

With werewolves, I wouldn't have thought it mattered?

Awesome model, regardless of size.

Very true,

But I quite fancied him as a leader for my CiC Werewolf band. And ofcourse as alpha bog he needs to be bigger, meaner and tougher than the rest.

Cheers, that gives quite a good idea of scale. He looks quite suitable, although I love the big brute in the middle  :D

Not sure but that Reaper mini is large, too big for my uses so I have one to trade if you or anyone is interested.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

It's a quite a bit larger.
I used it as a Blitzhund in my SoTR force.

Looks like a great "Pack leader" to lead the "Lesser Werewolves" in Chaos in Carpathia.

Gracias,

Glenn

At $18.99 it may be a bit pricey, but this Werewolf from Rusty Heroes is BIG & UBERCOOL:

I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Yes but, to me, not $18.99 worth of cool.  YMMV.

The Heresy one is nice.

I hadnt realised how small the SOTR ones were, avoid the Gothic horro ones as I think they are smaller but the Loup Garou if you havent got him may be OK

I guess the size issue is based on how relatively tall/bulky is a werewolf.  NBA tall but skinny Werewolves?  NFL Defensive Tackle werewolves?  Taller/as tall as a  man but incredibly strong/fast?  Are all werewolves the same height or are Pack Leaders 50% taller?  25%? 10%?  Do Werewolves vary in height/weight as much as humans do or more?

YMMV and it should.

Gracias,

Glenn

I like, I really like. But again $18 is far to pricey. Nice find DeafNala!

Opps! lovely model, fits in really well with the westwind stuff. I'm pretty certain that this is the model I want. Thank you Big frank for showing us the image!

I really don't like the Gothic horror 'lesser werewolves' they look far too comic-like for my taste. Its strange because I love the look of the rest of the range.

Cheers

EDIT- I had a complete brain Fart, viewed the topic in work, obviously had too much caffeine!
