Noir (Super)Heroes
« on: 26 January 2011, 04:06:52 PM »
After reading "Wolverine Noir" and "Punisher Noir", which I enjoyed both very much, I decided to make my own versions of them.

Right now the conversion is finished and they arewaiting for some paint.

Punisher, minor conversion, just headswap (the Skullmask of an Khorne Champion):

Wolverine, a little more to do:

And one of my favorite, Rorschach:

Paint will be added soon ;)

Nice work. Great vision to see that gangster as Wolverine. Look forward to seeing them painted. Are you doing them in normal colour or noir monotone?

Great conversions!  I really like the Wolverine.  He looks like the Heroclix Patch version.  A much better one though.  The Punisher looks more like the Red Skull to me.  Punisher Noir had more of a nylon pulled over the face look with a skull painted on it.  It still great work and looks great.

Thanx.

Yes, I know about the mask, but its more an "inspired by" version ;)
The Skullmask will be painted similar to the Comicmask.

Oh, and I allready plan a second version of the Punisher, more looking like the comic version, with Nylonmask and two guns, but don't have the mini yet.

Does anybody know if Copplestone is selling single minis?

I've not read Wolvie or Punisher Noir.

I have however read the first Spiderman Noir and Iron Man Noir and really liked them.

That Rorschach conversion tweaked a little and painted differently could easily make a Spidey Noir.

Rorschach was a very easy conversion, just cutted off a cigarett, added the mask and putted the hat into the right shape ;)
Very simple.

Didn't red Spidey or Ironman yet, maybe give them a try.
