Fenris make a "Glasgow Police Box" available from Ian(geronimo) direct or via Hasslefree.

I've got one and it measures up well.  :)

Thanx. That was fast.

Next Question: Anyone know of a reasonable proxy figure for (Peter Cushing as...) Dr.Who from the movie 'Daleks: Invasion Earth??? And all the extras for that matter...

Note, though, that while otherwise admirable, the Fenris model has entirely the wrong configuration of panels on the door, and the wrong sign on each side, to impersonate the TARDIS.  It does, however, look just like a real police box in Glasgow.

Easily the best 28mm TARDIS is the die-cast one sold by the Sci-Fi Collector's Centre in a pack with an oversized Dalek Sec for £10.  You can see examples on my Doctor Who 2010 thread.

Ainsty, but you have to ask about it.

Black Tree did a Cushing Dr Who, a little Susie Who, and a movie Roboman, as well as a box of "London Resistance" and some Daleks with the big ears and the grabber rather than the sucker.    They also did Barbara Who from the first movie.

Ainsty, but you have to ask about it.

Old Crow just announced that they've sold the Ainsty lines to someone else.  Don't know who yet.

My guess would be Armorcast.

I like the Hasslefree Tardis...

Ian's Glaswegian police phone box is a police phone box, there's one about 30 yards from his workshop down at Chatham docks, if some of you wish to use it as this TARDIS you speak of, then your call ;) (Oh and Steve F think about it a bit (re IP), you'll get the idea...  ::) Let's not bring button counting to the table eh?

Mike: I'm seeing Ian in a few weeks, want me to pick on up for you from you funds?

This is the Old Crow/Ainsty one with a selection of timelords. You've probably got a short wait to get one though as (as has been mentioned) the range is changing hands. As you can see they do a clear resin one as well as an opaque one.

the Fenris one is nice, but is a little narrow for my tastes... the Ainsty one is a cracker in my mind... and they also did a console... once... many moons ago...

(Oh and Steve F think about it a bit (re IP), you'll get the idea...  ::)

The thing is, the BBC owns the IP not just to TARDISes, but to Police Boxes in general too.  They won a court case against the Metropolitan Police a good few years ago.  So we're stuffed whatever we say or do!
