Brilliant looking table. I love the roads.

Is there any more terrain planned?
I've got a scratched up sat. dish to paint, and I'm toying with the idea of a control tower/uplink tower, but I dunno, could be a while.

Thanks for the positive feedback folks. :D

Finally got around to painting the uplink dish that I built after being inspired by Zafarelli´s excellent uplink tower, what seems like years ago.
Anyway, here are the pics

I made a new base board using jack's method of scribing MDF.

My motivation was two fold:

Firstly, the big 6x4 boards I've got are a bit of a hassle to get out and put away. I already had the two pieces of MDF I needed as they were the off cuts from the two larger desert/waste land boards.

Secondly, I have an evil plan to make a dungeon/maze labyrinth interior board. My thoughts were to keep this new board fairly simple and generic so that by just using different wall sections i'll be able to use it for SC-fi shoot 'em up style interior actions, and also for some fantasy dungeon crawl action should I ever finally get around to painting up some of my fantasy stuff.

Anyhow, here are some photos from this mornings game of infinity, using the new board with my existing scenery.

The valient nomads, (played by myself) were fending off an incursion by some filthy thieving Ariadnos, (played by Carlos.)

In the first encounter, the Nomads successfully eliminated the encroaching Ariadnos, eliminating all of them. We played the Cuadrant control mission from the current ITS missions.

However, in the second encounter of the morning, The nomad team was tasked with recovering some scattered supplies, and in this second encounter Carlos's troops handed my arse to me on a platter, eliminating all but my trusty Sin eater, while his own losses were minimal.

Compliments your scenery nicely. Jack's how to was great, personally used it to good effect on my little halo board and will use it again.  Nice touch with the different concrete tones.

Yeah well, not the most useful comment but I haven't much else to say either.
