Mean Green Killing Machines (O&G fantasy)
« on: February 16, 2011, 10:19:46 AM »

I finally painted up my Ramshackle Orcs. They'll be featuring in an old school Orcs and Goblins army that I'm making (don't know for what system or why... possibly Kings of Warts).

Those are awesome!

I might have to get me some!

I'm planning on making an Orc army using Mantic Orcs, but might include these guys.

I like the GW goblins, so I'll be sticking to them. Plus, I have 'undreds! lol

Thank you. I'm using the GW gobboes, along with Ral Partha, Grenadier and every other gobbo out there,,.,.. exclusively  lol

Project is basicly just rounding up the gobboes and orcs I've got lying in mount plastilead. Not too picky about heritage. And Kev Adams was a genius.

Well I must beg to differ. I think a lot of the Ramshackle miniatures are quite good. But very much their own I guess.  :)

I love the skin tones! Amazing Orcs, I wasn't too sure about the Ramshackle Orcs when I first saw them, but you made me want to buy some.

I have a few of the Ral Partha gobbos, some from Bob Olley and some from Tom Meier,
can't wait to see  what you do with them.

Yes, totally awesome work Dr the Viking!

Im about to release some goblin slaves at £1 for 3... they are the crew from the bolt throwers I make, plus some 3 more that are the crew for the as yet unreleased catapult Ive made.... I should put up some images I guess.. one moment please....

Those are all awesome!

I got the bareheaded rider (far left in the painted image) with one of my orders not long ago! I assumed it was a Post Apocalypse miniature, you sent him with a bag, so I guessed he was a mailman!

VERY COOL MINIS...and matching GREAT paint jobs. I hadn't realized that Ramshackle did more than Nuclear Renaissance...what a rush.

Yes, Im a die hard orc fan too. I have a huge shelf of old GW orcs, plus a load of models I made myself over the years, plus now the Ramshackle orcs, which is enough to make a whole army from. Ive always wanted an orc archer army...and now I have one! Just the last two out of 3 catapults to paint and its ready, I will post up some images asap. 100 archers, 6 bolt throwers, 3 catapults, 2 giants, 4 trolls and 6 dunger riders.

Actually, the dunger riders are Post Apocalyptic too, Im going to release them with future weapon arms as well as spears, and Ive painted a set as humans not orcs.

Let's say your paintjob somehow made them pop out... I keep my overall judgement (de gustibus...) but I'll look them twice from now on.
