Mad Doctors "pets"
« on: February 27, 2011, 02:07:04 PM »
Having downloaded a great set of Mad Doctor Team character add ons for Chaos in Carpathia I was looking for actual Cats and Dogs that would work for the fine "mad" doctor's early experiments in raising life.  Not the Island of Dr. Moreaux (spelling?) figures from Old Glory and not highly decomposed Zombies but 1 to 3 cats (and less so, dogs,) for his early works.

I of course, can use 15 mm or smaller wild cats for 25/28/30 mm CiC "reanimated Cats" and I can (and will) search for hounds/mastiffs for "reanimated Dogs" but what would your suggestions for figures (or the basis of conversions) that are clearly not zombies but re-animated Cats and Dogs.

Gracias,

Glenn

Wyrd make some nice zombie dogs (Canine Remains) but they are pretty large scale-wise. You could also look at their Hore Cats for conversion. They are possibly the only decent cat models I can think of.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Reaper does some cats in their familiar packs (I personally don't think the cats are large enough to actually remodel them, just paint them in patches from different cat colourings). Darkson Design did some Nazi dog handlers with augmented dogs for their AE-WWII line, I think they were called "Kriegshund"-Squad. Maybe those work fine for you.
