Had another
In the Heart of Africa campaign day last week. This time a Belgian Colonial force was facing the Turkish Slavers (far side) and my Lunda tribe was playing its final battle against the Jungle Pygmies (near side).
Once again, the Colonial force was crushed under the massive numbers of the opposing army. Though they held out a bit longer this time than previously. Here we see the final two White Men and some Azande allies staring down the muskets of the enemy.
Though my plan was sound, some REALLY poor die rolls on a spearmen charge reduced my left to nothing. Plus, Joe finally figured out how to use the pygmies best and he held my Warriors back. This was follwed by a series of poor morale rolls that had my army fleeing en mass. This shows the point where all my plans went awry.
