Pirates- Jungle Ruins

[Old Coast]

In preparation for a Legends of the High Seas campaign I am running in April I made these Jungle Ruins over the weekend, Recycled from old terrain I had it was a fun project with the self imposed limitations.
I am excited to see some Pirates explore the Yucatan this spring

@ Wingnut-  Pyramid is a simple foam core construction to keep the block count low
I used Hirst Mold # 200 (the wall mold) around the outside...surface tiles, stairs and wall bricks from side pieces are Mold #60 (Prison Tower) Pillars are from Mold # 65 (Ruined Tower)  The face piece is just an extra model base I had from Scibor Miniatures from one of there "Ruins" lines.

The vines really give it a great long-abandoned effect. I can't quite tell how you made them though - some sort of plant roots?

Actually, all the vegetation is from the floral section of a craft store..the vines are "spanish moss" for decorating a flower basket....
how bout that- easy!!

I shall have to take a closer look in Michael's aisles full of floral cruft next time I go there, the Spanish Moss as vines looks great!

Just some more pictures of the Finished Board..again all made with repurposed terrain I wasnt using anymore. the only cost here for me was time and paint.

And the Pirates look like Conquistadores and Elizabethans if I'm not mistaken? Nice table. Weapons and Warriors small boats are very handy. I have a POTC one that came out as an exploding boat that fits in as well.
