New Miniature Company
« on: March 21, 2011, 04:22:32 PM »
They are here at last !!

At last after two years of hard work we, at Forgotten & Glorious Company of Art, are very pleased to announce that our first six packs of 28mm metal unpainted figures and separate heads are available. At the moment we focus on the french army during the World War One but we have many more points of interest for the future.

Our goal was to make figures as fine and precise as possible the closest to the historical uniforms and equipement. We tried to base on what we can see on the photos and especially on those of the Verdun battle (where half of the french army was engaged).

Six packs are available for now but we hope to release the four Chauchat gunners for this summer and a St Etienne machine-gun for September, so keep an eye on our website !!

We hope you will enjoy the realistic stances and the characterful faces and that you will get as much pleasure as we did creating this range.

The miniatures look great and I'll have to agree with that the price is very good.

The painted minis look superb, and as pointed out, the price is very reasonable. If there will be more variation (e.g. some 4-5 variants of each troop type, not counting "specialists"), I would be very tempted to finally get a bona fide French WW1 force for T&T.

really nicely done!
I like the very characterful faces.  Too often faces for the 'basic boots' soldiers either have no personality or they all look like clones for runner-ups for marvel comics stand-ins. Nice to see something different!
