OGRE Miniatures
« on: March 22, 2011, 12:09:59 AM »
Hey Gang,

I dug out a bunch of my old OGRE miniatures this week, to show them off on my blog (I painted them back in 1994, before there were such things!)

Lots more on the blog:  http://wantedforwargaming.blogspot.com/2011/03/blast-from-past-ogre-miniatures.html

Hmm, actually I think it would have been 95-96, as that was when I was working for Partha.  The years all seem to bleed together!

Are you saying that you worked for Ral Partha (my all time favorite mini company); I think you just became my hero.

Lovely stuff. I was rooting through my OGREs box the other night, I really must paint some of them. I fancy trying them with Future war commander.
Really like that PJ

Outstanding, both the paint schemes ideas and their execution. I've always wanted to build a 28mm Ogre, but never got around doing so.

Great idea, did you ever see the Macro Ogres? 28mm ones from years ago. There was a chap making 15mm Ogres as well
Edit: Actually the old ogre Macrotures are 1/35th scale! (54mmish), will see if I can find some piccies

Yup, got the pics saved away somewhere on my drive - the SJG Macroture GEV was actually the thing that picqued my interest.
