Shawna of the jungle and the Temple of the Moon
« on: October 07, 2007, 10:31:18 PM »
For about as long as we've been going to conventions together Kim Allman has expressed his desire to run a darkest Africa game.  Well, just when most of us had given up on the idea of ever seeing it, Kim put a humdinger of one together for Southern Front using .45 Adventure. Below are pictures and descriptions of the game. With any luck Kim will show up and offer up some insight on how he created this wonderful board...

The Swinging Bridge...

The native village...

The Slavers borrow a canoe...

Jack Hammer and friends...

Don't look down...

Sha-sha-sha-Shawna!!!...

...and the annoying spider...

Hungry, Hungry (and angry) Hippos...

The Queen...

...and her Mummy

Mighty Tongo

Dogpiled by natives...

A slavers rifle ends the day for Tongo...

I don't. Kim may have taken one though and if he passes it on, I'll post it.

This is super cool.  I think the hippo heads in the water are my favorite part.  Looks very authentic.

Absolutely fantastic!

Are those hippos home-made, and if not, where can I lay my claws on such nice stuff?? Come to think of it; sub-merged crocs would be good, too

Are the palm trees cake decorations? Having just finished my first mini for over half a year, Í'm about to try getting my collection of tropical terrain going
