Which ruleset do you think will work well for Valiesk? I need something which, on one hand, is relatively simple to play and run (and which requires minimal page-flipping during the game), and, on the other hand, fun and interesting to play. It should also be able to handle WWII and Ultra-Modern games, as well as vehicles.

Speaking of vehicles, I've just ordered three BTR-70s from QRF for my Loyalist Guard Mechanized Rifle Platoon...

What about Force on Force, or perhaps Rapid Fire?

Regarding the Rebels, I'm undecided yet between using Rebel Minis (pun unintended  lol) 15mm US Army figures for them, or rather Rebel Minis 15mm US SWAT or even Rebel Minis 15mm US Special Forces (or German KSK?). They are a high-grade (for Valiesk, that is) force with the latest Western gear but with a smaller manpower than the Loyalists have. As for vehicles, I was thinking about HUMMERs, one per squad, but Marders are also a possibility.

Suggestions would be welcome.

Regarding rules go for FAD4, I'm using a slight version of it for WWII, WWWII and sci-fi, and it does modern and ultramodern very well too. A very flexible ruleset and best of all it's free!

Ive posted a rough overview of the FAD4 stats of my Valiesk forces:
http://valiesk.blogspot.com/2011/07/fad4-valieskan-force-overview.html

The one thing I'll particularly like help with is which line of 15mm miniatures should I use for the White Legion (the local neo-fascists); I need something modern rather than sci-fi, but I'm open to suggestions. Maybe Peter Pig Hardened Militia?
