Bederken Dwergs!
« on: May 03, 2011, 10:19:32 PM »
Thought I'd take a quick break from painting my next LPL entry to share some of the close-ups I took of Dave's fantastic Dwergs - tough choice which to paint for my entry last week though!

Loads of fun to paint and I deliberately went for some horrible clashing colours to make them even more weird and wonderful!

Waldo Moistfinger - Mutant Weirdo

Pushmay Pullyew - Standard bearers

Mamriz Eyesaw - Bederken Knife Maiden

Lurkio Latrine - Mutant Weirdo

Putrus Gingivitals - Bederken Warrior

Enjoy!  :D

VERY COOL minis with matching EXCELLENT paint jobs & CREATIVE names. While I really enjoy your painting technique, your names are of a superior nature...Waldo Moistfinger & the politically incorrect dual standard bearers Pushmay Pullyew are outstanding examples of the craft.

First off, KingDavid your sculpts are awesome and second the paint jobs on these are great! Great banners and close up pics btw, now for the painting: Lurkio Latrine (great name) is done particularly well, love the armour but Putrus Gingivitals (these names remind me of Gwar) is my favorite, some fantastic painting going on here, some of your best.

Putrus is the boss! Really like the lot of them, you did a great job on them Steve. As did Dave, but there are other threads for his ego to be massaged in. ;) Got a Bederken freebie in a recent exchange with our friend in the penal colonies. Looking forward to slap some paint on that, at a later point in life.

Thanks all - that's certainly massaged my ego anyway!  ;D

Muchos fun to paint and I'm looking forward to getting the rest of the gang done once the LPL is over and I've finished Orc's Drift...

Dunno which takes longer - the painting or the names!  ;)

Not familiar with Gwar though Damien, but sounds like fun!

Gwar is a rock band (if I can call them that, I like them) that dress up and have names like: Oderus Urungus, Balsac the Jaws of Death, Slymenstra Hymen etc (you get the idea). You can check out some of thier videos on youtube if you like.

As I said before your minis are the sh*t, good work.

Great work on these Dwergs Thansants! I really like the bright and sickly colourful painjobs you gave these splendid models!

Nice color palette! I'm a fan. It reminds me of the Rackham paint schemes, but with an edge!

As was already stated, the banner is a nice bit of freehand, and I'm with phreedh- Putrus is the boss!

Very nice Dave...glad to see the range expanding!

I love all of them but maybe Think Twice is my favorite.  Not only are you a fantastic sculptor and painter you come up with very clever names...something I'm terrible.

Cheers,

Blue
