Iron Brigade's Indian Mutiny game at Carronade
« on: May 09, 2011, 03:33:08 PM »
Here are a few pictures of what was, for me, the outstanding game on show at Carronade, starting with some general views of the game ~

The Fort ~

The Residency ~

The village ~

The Mutineer attack ~

Some details ~

I really did think this was the outstanding effort of the show. How it came second to the VBCW game is a mystery to me...
Perhaps someone had consumed too much IronBru before the judging took place....

A great looking game board..though I imagine it stretched a few arms! I really like the earthy colours on the buildings at the back.

I saw this game too and you can be assured that it was of the highest order in terms of quality. I didn't get to the show until late or you would have a few more pics to cast your eyes over.

One chap running the game (sorry I forgot to ask your name  o_o) let me know that the Residency was modelled by Gary Chalk many a moon ago.

Beautifull set up it was  8) 8) 8) 8) 8).

Darrell.

Great - love the little multi-barrel cannon on the roof.

within the limitation of knowledge of the English language I don't find a word that give expression to what I think of this; it's dazzling.
