Those command figs are very nice. I have hundreds of Foundry and OG figs, but looks like I "need" some of this line.

I think the dynamism of the sculpts outdoes all the competition to be honest. Not to mention the turbans and the turnout of the troops. With Col. Mike Snook doing the research it is already the most historically correct of all the ranges out there.

I'm addicted to this range! I've got all the British Regiments thus far and i'm hoping to add to that with the Mutineers very soon! all a bit crazy as I only have half of Neil's Bluecoats nearly done to a finish!  o_o o_o o_o

Have you found a decent set of rules yet?

All up in the air at present. I'm looking to use a skirmish set and a massed battle type set. So, far I have The Devils Wind but have yet to look at it with more than a cursory eye.

Sharp Practice with some modifications would probably work well for the skirmish set- has anyone tried this for the Mutiny?

Victorian Steel works
Battles for Empire II works if you fiddle with who is what (there is an ORBAT with all the info on the BFE Yahoo Group)

Regarding Sharp Practice for the Mutiny, there's an article and scenario for this in one of the TFL Specials. There's also a more comprehensive supplement for the period in draft/play test called "War Without Mercy" which may see the light of day once SP v2 is released sometime in 2016.

The new Osprey "Men Who Would Be Kings" colonial rules (again, September 2016 release) will also work well - the core rules feature quite small forces (40-50 British figures v. 90-100 Mutineers would be typical) but could be readily up scaled for larger games.

So..plenty of time to get those figures painted before you play!

Yep, I quite agree. Didn't know SP2 was in the running..... be great to see a comprehensive supplement for the Mutiny.

I've got a Hastings demo at Salute this year and I'm going to do Ravenna the next! [whispers "good luck Darrell" to himself]

Actually I've got a cunning plan to get the Mutiny stuff painted up, at least so I can play a Skirmish Level game or two. It's called the LAF Painting League  :D

Yeah, War Without Mercy has been around for a few years. It looks very good and has a nice campaign system. I've played one SP Napoleonic game; don't know if it is for me. I'm not sure I want that much fussing with the command system.

Wonder whatever happened to the incredibly talented and well-read author, we don't seem to hear a lot about him these days....   ;)

Mutineer artillery and a few extra command figures for the sepoys are in the pipeline as well :
