As the storm clouds gathered over Stonehenge.
« on: 25 May 2011, 09:09:05 PM »
This what I been spending some of my spare time on, it’s not a 100% to scale but based on 1/56 with some alteration mainly done for game play, I may still tinkle with the weathering but it’s ready for game play.
When I get the time ill play a game on it with my son and take some picture, if you want to see how I built it please feel free to visit my Blog.

The two tall standing stones standing  next to the single stone was not upright in the twenties, they were stood up at a later date but can’t say when, but as all the standing stones are held in place by magnets it’s easy to lay them down.

Only if the board cost two pound, that what  the MDF 36" x 26" x 12mm board cost me, I got lucky with a off cut and the wood yard man knows me from doing business there.
That's the first time I have ever made any scenery from blue foam. I do have more foam left but I need to get back to painting my miniatures.

Looks perfect for Strange Aeons.  I love the cover provided in this type of board.  Oh, and nice clear resin ghost; very ghastly green!

Really nice as I wrote on your blog, been both to The Stonehenge and Avebury, really cool sites. I liked Avebury a bit more since it didn't feel like a tourist trap as much.

A good pub right in the middle of a prehistoric circle. What's not to like?
