They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

There's some great stuff on this site including some really nice traders hand carts in the "Pheonix figures" and some to die for gas lamps in the Street & Station Lamps section...

I think I just died and went to heaven

Awesome stuff, my credit card is about to get a walloping. I was looking for some hand carts and assorted stuff. I hope 1/43 isnt too big for 28's. Great find Tadportly. Thanks for the heads up.

Sorry to disappoint you, Malamute, but 1/43 is way too large for 28's. Correct man's height in 1/43 would be 41,8 mm. So even large 32 mm figures would not fit.

But maybe the carts are on the small side of the scale ...  8)

depends on   the basing you use - if you use a chunkier base like the plasic "slotta bases", then this can compensate height wise.  In addition many people use 1/43 scale vehicles for 28mm figures.

   Oh yes, I was thinking of 1/48th scale which is closer to 28-30mm, ah well, never mind :(

Although too big for 28mm these will be perfect for some of the Graven Images 40mm stuff. The Hansom Cab would be perfect for Jack the Ripper and/or Dr Jeckyl and the Romany Caravan is crying out to be used with the Disturbia circus figures.

Sod it. I, to, was dazzled and did not think through the scale issue.

Yes. I have built it and it's the best one in the market. There is a better coachman for it in the Pax Limpopo range. Look for Hench and Coach.

Oh yes. Unusual and a pleasure to paint.

I have painted the Middle Eastern set, the Indians, the flappers and some street urchins. I am itching to paint the whale boat but I wouldn't know what to do with it and my lead mountain would probably see its second lead slide if I added it ontop of it.

I will eventually get the victorian dancing couples since First lady Helen was kind to part with her Foundry Victoria and Albert.
