Dragons anyone
« on: June 15, 2011, 02:12:57 AM »
I have been around this site for a while now and decided to post some pics in Fantasy adventures.
Fantasy Warhammer is where most of my time has been spent the last few years.

Wood elf Highborn on Forest dragon

Dark elf Dreadlord on Black dragon

Both of these have seen action and had their day.
I have more pics to show mainly elves if you like.
No amount of planning will ever replace dumb luck.

Nice work, I love what you did to the Lava Dragon, I didn't know it was that big, very cool!  :-*

Its nice seeing dragons like them on a battle field.  I don't think mine have ever left the shelf. Painting a model that sized can be daunting, well done.

PRETTY COOL LOOKING! From years of painting Dragons when the not-so-mini minis were of a high lead content, I associate Dragons with wrist pains...EVEN SO I love what you did with these two. VERY NICELY DONE!
AND YES, speaking for the Group, we'd LOVE to see your Elf Guys/Gals.

Certainly more elegant appearance than my old Archive Miniatures Imperial Dragon figure, which its great claim to fame is it weighs near 8 pounds of lead!

Yes he is as big as the Forest dragon. I got him for a steel and changed him up a bit.
I can post more pics of him as a progression when I put him together.

Great looking minis. I especially love the dragons. The photo of the dragon on the actual games table, is really nice. Job well done. Thanks for sharing them.

Lovely dragons and a great Elf army. I have never had the bottle to paint a large mini like those - I have a plastic one I got free with a magazine to paint up. Maybe I'll get round to that after my next couple of mini-projects are out of the way. I will have to hone my painting skills though as I paint in a very simplistic manner.
