Here's the NBFZ

Very nice! I didn't even know they made a kit of the NBFZ in that scale. Where did you get it from?

Its from a company called  JTFM Enterprises - Die Waffenkammer, who I believe are based in Canada.

I got it from the Wargames Command Post in Somerset and was quite lucky as it was the last one in stock and they are not stocking them anymore. It has to be the best resin Tank kit Ive ever bought!

Unfortunatley it is one of the worst tanks ever built!

It's a "heavy tank" that has the same frontal armour as a Panzer 1, breaks down at the drop of a hat and although it has a 75mm and 37mm in the main turret it can only fire one at a time

I think it will spend most of its time hiding from anti tank rifles.

Been waiting for an order from Renegade forever, but it finally arrived so Ive got the first Battalion done

We use Brigadier 38 as our rules system, they are very good. The movement trays are from Warbases and are designed to fit 2p's as figure bases. He does them in just about any combination you can think of and will happily do custom requests too.

Shadow factories were set up from 1936 onward to ensure that 'all the eggs were not in one basket' in light of the belief that a war was inevitable.
I suppose the most interesting parts of this article refer to the factories producing the Hispane-Suiza 20mm and the 1919 Browning MMG. Might be interesting to see " Lincolnshire poachers" back up their shotguns with 20mm auto-cannons  and "Wiltshire farmboys" with a surplus of '30.cal Brownings'.
