The progress from yesterday:

Just a few details and some weathering to do and a base to complete and it is done.

Superb! Loving the colours and the fact that it's suitable for both Mordheim and SA. Detachable roof?

Thanks, pocoloco!
The roof is fixed in place.
I bought it like this on ebay. I got the whole Mansion set for a cheap price, too cheap to turn down. The only problem was it had been stuck together without being cleaned up properly.
I have done some work to it, the rest of the blemishes will be hidden in the final phase of finishing it off.
 ;)

Thanks, Suber!

Thanks, Guy!

Cheers, mate!

Well, I finished it today, but it now looks slightly different to my original plan.
Well, a lot different, to be honest.

I originally was going to paint it up as a Temple of Morr, but decided that that would be too dark and limit it to only one real use.
Going for a lighter colour would enable it to be used as a small church or chapel in other genres, so that was what I went for.

As I was about to start adding the scenic items (a profusion of growing things to hide the poor joins and mouldlines  ::)), I had a bit of a brainwave: Why not go the whole hog and really go to town on the thing?

Here it is in its final state:

As you can see, I went a bit mental with the scenic materials, but I think it has come out fine.

It will also now work perfectly as a lovely village chapel in 1920's Britain, too.
 ;)

In Krappefortt it will represent a Chapel of Sigmar instead and make a nice break from the doom and gloom look of the rest of the place.

I hope that you like the outcome...

Oh but that is LOVELY! GREAT as the painting is, the various flora really make the scene a visual treat. The flowering vines by the front door are especial splendid. The final touches were MASTERFULLY applied...VERY WELL DONE!

Boom! That looks wicked. All the organic growth brings it alive...as it were.
I love the details that you add to it. The moss and the stuff growing out out the roof is my fave bit.
