Thank you very much for the comments, chaps, it is much appreciated.
 :)

It seems that I have gotten away with it.
I was worried that I may have overdone it, but you seem to think that it looks ok, so I am pleased.
 :D

Now I had better get back to working on those graveyards....

Thanks, mate.

I took some pics of it in situ for another project, but did take a couple without any figures, just scenery.
I certainly think it will work well for other periods, especially for rural Britain in the early twentieth century.
 ;)

I think it will be just fine.
 :)

You've managed to make an over the top fantasy building into a believable real world one, without having to convert it. I'm in awe, it looks great. :-*

Seconded, loving the foliage, how did you do the climbing shrub?

Thanks, chaps.
Much appreciated!

I get most from Mutineer Minatures, they have an excellent range made by Mininatur Siflor and provide an excellent and quick mail order service.

They pretty much cover most of my scenic needs.

It is basically my usual underbrush, that you can see on the other walls, at the base with a layer of white flower tufts above them forming the highest layer with some white blossom tufts in between to blend them together.

I hope that explains the method adequately.
 :)

And to think that this idea came about because I dont really like the flower tufts and was thinking of a way of using them on scenery instead of bases.....

I just recently got some of the Siflor tufts & other goodies. On this side of the Atlantic you can get them at Scenic Express:

...a nice outfit to deal with.
