That is one sad photo on what man is capable of.

(I know the irony that this is a wargaming forum and man is capable of even worse things in that sphere.)

It was more of a cheeky reference to Masons de-skulling attempts than the whole natural disadyer of the bisons :)

Blimey!
 :o :o

That is one seriously thought-provoking picture.

I have not removed/covered quite THAT many skulls.

In fact, I have been a little distracted by the Old West and the building of my town, Upsheet Creek,so I have not made much progress but I did do a little bit of work on the Garden of Morr, de-skulling the walls (which are the most useful parts).

Here is the evidence:

I actually only removed a couple of the skulls, the rest have had stone blocks placed over them with greenstuff.

They HAVE been done on both sides and that did take a while.

The skulls that were fixed on to the railings have been covered in such a way as to provide something for various plant forms to cling to when I get around to it.

And, before anyone mentions it: I know that the biggest skull is still there.
That is because I intend to remove the arch over the gate and replace it with something entirely different.
 ;)

I will get on to the various mausoleums etc whilst I am working over the holiday period....

You missed a skull :-p

Looking good mate! A pity that you're dabbling in the Old West, but hey, we can't all lead by example now can we ;)

Since you first began this posting I have probably written a couple of time that I love your work.  Well, here it is again...  I love your work!  I attacked the deskilling of my Garden of Morr walls for my Victorian city using Milliput to create huge amounts to vegetation.  I''m really looking forward to seeing how your approach works out.  Richard

I thought that it might be you who would say that.... ::)

Mate, I am enjoying town-building in the Old West too much to have any concerns about nonsense like that.... ;D

Come on over and have a mosey around some time.
You never know: You may be converted.

Thank you very much, Richard!
Much appreciated.

I must also confess that it was use of the Garden in your Victorian town* that made me consider dealing with the skulls on the railings n the same way.
I will be doing things a little differently, but only because I have made extensive use of 'underbrush' on my buildings already, and this will help it blend in.
Thank You!

WHY ARE THERE SOO MANY SKULLS IN EVERYTHING THEY DO NOW!! I MUST KNOW!!

*Begins a sweet ninja training and info gathering montage with awesome 80s pump you up music.

*Finally after discovering the location sneaks into a GW sculptor's house. Upon entering hears a strange clicking noise coming from the living room. Tiptoes in and finds a Predator on the couch watching TV in a room with nothing but skull trophies aligned on the wall.  :o

Ninja realizes only he can stop the skulls from flowing now, his eyes narrow as he stares down his target, he must save gamers everywhere. The most famous of hunters has now become the prey. The sweet dub step music starts, Ninja draws his blade the Predator senses him....

Mason, I'm really happy to hear that what I did with my walls helped you in your decision to de-skull (apparently the spell check doesn't like this as a single word; I didn't notice that in my previous note) your walls.  And thanks for the note directing your visitors to my Victorians.  Very generous indeed.  Keep doing the great stuff and I'll keep watching.  Love it.  Richard

did it offend you?

 lol

No.
It is the only piece of scenery that I have that is non-generic.
It is not really compatible with anything outside of Mordheim so I thought that I would make some space for something else, that is all.

Mason, I just wanted to chime in and let you know that I have begun my annual read-through of this amazing thread. It never fails to put me in the mood for some fantasy skirmish gaming! As always, I doff my cap to your modeling skills and snappy battle reports. Keep up the great work -- I'll be reading!
