there are no rules... yet... unless you mean Witchfinder General, which sadly I can't recommend to anyone...

painted the Black Dog... not 100% happy with it to be honest, the eyes work quite well, but the paintjob as a whole isn't winning me over, but I figure I better step away from it... and annoyingly it's still shiny, after several coats of dullcote...

I did resculpt the muzzle from the WIP shot though, the nose is narrower, but the snout is slightly shorter and taller, makes it a bit less wolf-life hopefully...

and for size comparison...

and the Mast Beast is painted... happy with this one, painted two at once - the one of the d/s base will be destined for the Fenris display case and webstore...

Those are pretty interesting, nicely done!

ok... nothing new yet (got distracted after I finally got the blacksmiths thatch looking ok)...

but, last night on 5 (UK) was The King's War on Witches, about James I and his book Daemonologie... is available on demand now
http://www.channel5.com/shows/revealed/episodes/the-kings-war-on-witches-revealed

it was quite good - very interesting bit on the Saveock pits...

http://www.archaeologyonline.org/Site%20-%20Area%20Feather%20Pits.html

the earliest is dated to the mid 1600's, but there are 30 odd and the latest contained plastic and bailing string from the 1970's which - depending on their function - is either great or bonkers or scary...
