For completeness here is a picture of my crew (WIP) in place.

By the LOTHS rules for ships the crew positions are-
Three able seamen to operate the ship.
Four marines to operate the two cannon.
That leaves me my three Heroes and one able seaman with a blinderbuss to repel boarders :D

Last couple of pictures before the painting starts

The last bits of detail done including the gun ports and the roof above the door.

One final pic of the finished ship now on to painting

Are you planning on painting the sail material? If so, what about painting some panel lines on it with your airbrush like in this photo..

I'm afraid it's the best photo I could find. Not a great one for showing the sail.

Great build so far!  I'm eager to see it when you get it painted up!

Could you define "thin card"?  Looks like cereal boxes or adult beverage boxes or something like that...

I was just re-reading this thread and only just noticed the question at the end.

That's o.k. then.
I was beginning to think I just couldn't find it.

Some of the boys at our school club have started a naval arms race for the War of 1812 (on the Great Lakes), and I was going to use your sloop as an inspiration for them.

Absolutely amazing!!!! Now that I've seen that you have scratch built the sloop, I am even more impressed as I thought it was a kit or model. You sir are a very talented model maker. Thanks for sharing.

Yes that's it finished
Giles had a strange notion of escaping from the harbour in a ship by blowing them up with gun powder barrels rolled down the gangway ;D
I can take some more pictures if you are interested?
