Even though there was a snowstorm, people had been driving from Copenhagen and still made it, so snowstorm is no excuse  ;)

As far as I remember, the snow wasn't quite so bad on the north of Funen, so the motorway across the island up there may have been fairly passable. Not so the roads where I live.

I didn't want to risk the family dropship, although it bothered me to stay home, and the trains are hopeless around here when we have just a heavy dew...
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Very interesting period to game. Like what you have done so far.  Really like your fire markers. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, the Aquarium Cotton is new to me - nicer material to work with than steel wool, I'd say?  :)

Jonas, I'll have you down as one of the most original and creative game makers on this board. There are others, to be sure, but combining off-beat ideas with skilful execution and actual deploy is special. I say this because I feel I am lacking in some of these aspects.

Brilliant stuff, loving the fire markers, they look terrific. Can't wait to see this finished and some photos of the game in progress ;D

I second this. I wish I could be as innovative and, especially, productive as some of the honoured members are. Maybe when I retire in some 20 years, or so...  lol

Thank you very much. I did not invent the fire markers though, I stole the idea from Thorbjørn, who stole the idea from this guy: http://elladan.de/021%20Fire%20and%20Smoke/021.htm.

Then I used some wrong materials along the way, but basically I used that guide and gave them my own touch.

What I have coming up next is of course the miniatures and I am also going to do some measuring sticks.

Later I will be making the actual board and some terrain, but I don't have the material for that at the moment and no money to buy them, so that will have to wait a bit.

This is, by far, one of the more impressive game efforts I have seen for a while. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks. I will hopefully update very soon... I have recieved the last Cavemen I need (some Copplestone barbarians from Em4), they just need to be modified a bit, metal knives removed and some belt buckles greenstuffed with fur.

So next update should include either some painted models or my work on cavemanify the barbarians  :D

I have a little bit of progress. I recieved some Em4 Copplestone barbarians, which fit in size and looks with the Copplestone cavemen I have.

They need to have a few changes made, some knives, belt buckles and a chain needed removal. It is not so easy to see the changes on the pictures, but I think the result ended up ok.

Before: Copplestone caveman and 4 Em4 Copplestone barbarians.

After from the front.

After from the back.

Em4 has 4 barbarians with bows which I used, there is pictures of 3 of them on their homepage. They also have a fifth barbarian with bow, but he is wearing a helmet, that was a bit too much work for my taste.

Also Mirliton has some of the same barbarians, they carry a package with 5 barbarians with bows og which 4 are the same as the Em4 ones, but the package include a fifth, which should be useable, and it is not available from Em4 at the moment.

They fit perfectly with the Copplestone cavemen as he did these barbarians too.
