Does anyone produce anything similar to the Tesla Troopers from Red Alert 1 to 3?

What scale you looking for?

If it's 15mm I'd be tempted to use Ground Zero Games' Japanese Power Armour....

OOh. I'll be watching this one. If anyone can find a RA2 Tesla trooper model (or go and make one) I'll have ten!

Just out of interest, does anyone know the red alert storyworlds plot reasoning for Tesla assisting the Soviets? you know, as hes lived and worked in the USA...

You know that is one thing that never really made much since to me ether. The best I can figuer is that the design team was just being lazy and wanted to keep using the Tesla coil from the earler C&C games.

I started looking into it after I added a model of Tesla to my 1880s Russian VSF force, basing it on the premice that Tesla at the time was a great fan of Czar Alexander II and hypotheticly could have gone to russia rather than the USA if things had gone a little differently. I cant however see any evidence that Tesla made any advances towards the Soviet Union at any point, infact rather aiding the USA scientificly in the early cold war. I was just supprised as the C&C and Red Alert background has always been rather well reserched and contrived.

ah well, its only a game.....a good game at that!

Was hoping for 28mm, planning on building a "Neo" Soviet force, though Ive just found out Ral Partha Europe doesnt stock Soviet miniatures in its Vor range anymore, so no toxic or heavy infantry :(

Yeah I know :D It's my dabbling with 15mm you see, there are some amazing things out there and surely command and conquer/red alert would be perfect in that ungodly scale? ;)

Someone at the Post Apoc Wargames forum said they'd been in contact with RP Europe.  Most if not all of the Vor line is available, just not in the online store yet.  You'll have to contact them to get the unlisted items.
