How to make a market stall in 20 pictures
« on: 22 August 2011, 07:20:30 PM »
Ok this week i said i was going to create a market for Mugadishu, alot of people on
here like to game conflicts around the world Afghanistan  the middle east and African
countries, all places have markets ... here is how i created a market stall, never done this
before so i made it up as i went along and took pictures in the process, i have made it simple
as possible for you and the effect is worth the effort...the market is two squares 12in by 12in
i have yet to make another 2 squares so its going to be a large market.I created 27 stalls in 2 days
took around 3 hours in all.

These all look great and using similar methods tents could also be made... @DonVoss did you also use old shirt material for the cloth effect? I found using wine bottle lead foil covered in masking tape a great cloth alternative, not to mention being a great excuse to drink unfortunately more and more bottles are appearing with cheapened alternatives, also find it easier to shape and paint as opposed to the real thing so to speak.

I used an old t-shirt and am very satisfied with the cloth-effect you get by a sort of drybrushing.
Unfortunately my fotoskills cant show it... lol

Hi, this is certainly to be copied into Ramnicûl: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=33032.0. Not without mentioning this thread...
Wonderful easy construction looking way better I'd given such a construction. And in look not too expensive. Great.

Where do you get the goods from?

It rises from the depths of time!!!!!

Sorry for the threadomancy but I went searching for this as I'm about to build a bunch of stalls and the pics have dissapeared... They were here a few weeks ago when I looked! Are they shown elsewhere at all?
So many projects..... so little time.......
