Greetings from Atlanta Georgia
« on: September 09, 2011, 09:56:28 AM »
Hi everyone,

I just joined the community in pursuit of a new place to explore and discuss miniature hobby.  Just taking a quick look around I notice a lot of names that look very familiar to me.  :)    My primary interests are in 15mm SciFi, Fantasy and Moderns, in that order.  Looking forward to interacting with those I already know and making some new acquaintances.

Jeff

Should you ever make it to Charleston, I'd totally throw down lead with you.
You, sir, are not allowed to attempt a takeover of the solar system until your octopus sobers up.

No 28mm JRacel? I'm about 40 miles north of you, or thereabouts...

Froggy,

I rarely get a day off, let alone get to escape Georgia, but thanks for the offer.

Ranger,

I'm actually in the Kennesaw area, so a little was away from you in Commerce GA.  As I mentioned to Froggy, I tend to have a lot less time than I would like to game and the last few years have spent a lot of my time getting some painting work done for myself and some friends, such as Rebel Minis (www.Rebelminis.com ) for whom I have painted a lot of the SciFi line.  I used to do a lot of 28mm gaming, but found that 15mm was a much better fit for price, battlefield scale and especially for my painting preferences.  I have painted more 15mm miniatures in the last few years than I did in nearly 20 years with 28mm.

Lots of my work if you guys are interested listed on my Skydrive.  Feel free to dig around.

Thanks again for the welcome,

Jeff
